Chev Ecotec 2.2 ?
Went to the auto auction, and came home with a 2004 chevy classic with a 2.2 eco tec engine for commuting around, should be a good one for the new drivers in the house. Pretty modern looking, no plug wires, distributor or timing belt. Aluminum head/block. 24/33 mileage. Wkipedia says the engine weighs 300#.
Took an hour to find the oil filter. Anyone know these engines? Weaknesses, warnings? How about the auto tranny?
