Default Trailer Brakes

Took my trailer in to LS for bearings to be packed. I had also been hearing a disturbing sound from the drivers side wheel. Turns out that I am missing a "caliper bolt". The boys at LS tried all day to find one but could not come up with the right size. Any suggestions? It is a Satlwater Trailer by King Trailers.

thanks,
TD

I'm guessing these are disks? You might google "tiedown engineering" as they are the likely brake supplier. Mine are not tiedown but mine use a fine threaded allen head bolt.

Just a suggestion, but you'd be way ahead taking care of your bearings yourself. I've seen how some of the commercial outfits "repack" bearings. All they do is grease the bearings and they do not fill the hub cavity. They sometimes also use the wrong seals. It's not hard to do and only takes a few hours for a tandem.

Call Six Robbles and see if they have your parts, if that doesn't work call Rapid Brake in Olympia and ask for Pat.
