3 days on the Dance Floor
Well where to start? I guess an apology first.
Sorry it toke till now to post. I think some of you know why. For the rest of you guys. I was one BEAT PUP when I got home. I had to get fish put up and with some help form StickFish and Hoggemin we got it done. Thanks guys. Then I got a shower a meal and some much needed rest.
Not sure if I can handle many of those 3 dayers. It can be rough ona guy.
Now on to the adventure,
We left just after first light Thurs. morning. The crew was Retaliate, His stepson Zeke and a grass seed farmer from Corvalis (Tunagin). Crossing the bar was no problem. But as we headed out into sloppy seas. After we heard a guy heading back I questioned if maybe we shouldn't do the same. but, Retaliate assured me we would be fine so off we went. As most already know we got 20 tuners that day. With sloppy seas I felt we did well and we returned being quartered by a SW wind wave, New experience for myself.
On Fri. we launched about 5:30am anticipating a great day and got just
that. Onboard this day the crew was Firstmate StickFish and Rip Rook (a friend of mine from the diesel board I frequent). He also runs a bussiness working on diesel trucks and selling performance parts for them. He was also a Tunagin. Just the 3 of us ended up with 24 that day. Another great day.
Day 3 was a full crew StickFish Freakwater and a friend of his Paul.
Another great day, another Tungin sacraficed to the DarkSide.
Ended that day with the same number 24.
In conclusion to this the tally is:
68 Tuna on the Dance Floor
3 Tunagins less in the world
And allot of lessons learned (I will summerize those later tonight)

Re: 3 days on the Dance Floor
way to stack up some early numbers bro
I will be saving up a few bucks for fuel so I can go with you & fish instead of running the boat
I know what you mean about 3 days in a row
I too am a tired pup today and just a wee bit sore

Re: 3 days on the Dance Floor
You guys really put the hurt on those tuna. Nice to finally hear some reports coming from you and the new ride. 3 days! You're an animal. 1 day of tuna and hali's. Up at 4am and carking til midnight was about all I could take. Wait until you're my age you'll see.

Nicely done Mike. You can sleep when you're dead. Right now it's time to whack em and stack em.
