Default Triple C's Saturday report

Fished with Todd aka Bait Dunker and a couple of my coworkers, We put
three small halibut in the morning at the ranch and headed NW about 12:30. Came in on numbers from Retaliate and Kismet and picked a single then 3 triples and then a quad that took a rod right out of the pole holder We boated three fish and one of the fish had a line wrapped around it. We pulled in the line and got our fishing rod back. How's that for luck, and then Todd says "but we lost the 4th Fish". Todd was great to have on board. I highly recommend him as crew to anyone. Todd thanks for your help at the carking station and staying late to clean up the boat. Great day on the water fishing with a lot of my salty brothers. 3 hali's and 19 tuna not a bad day at all.

Awesome! day Glad you made it out, we heard the radio screem with fish-on, within minutes of you arriving, then again...& again, glad we could help, Stowaway Smiled proudly:grin: everytime you & Kismet announced.

How long did you guy's stay out? Been waiting for the Trifecta report, I guess you didn't have time left for Salmon? We thought about it also after picking our 3 butt's at the Rockpile, but no time since we still had Crab pot's to pick up.

It was one I bought off ebay. It sits in the boat rod holder and turns out 90 degrees ,so it holds the rod out like an outrigger. Problem is it was not pushed all the way into the boat rod holder to the pin, so when the fish hit it spun in the holder and let the rod point at the back of the boat. A couple of bounces and that rod was gone with the fish. What a day halibut and tuna on only 65 gallons of gas
