Default Springfield Armory XD?

Springfield Armory XD:
Does anyone have one of these? What are your thoughts on the gun? I saw one for the first time(it was chambered in 45) this weekend and I was wondering what others think of them.

I am dreaming of one in a sub compact. In 40 or 45. The lowest I think I saw one was around $450 new.

Been looking at them and heard that they are a great high cap hand gun.

I like them better than the Glock, and I am a Glock owner. Better trigger and ergonomics.

I have recently converted to SIG myself, though.

I've got an XD 9. I like it better then the G19. I rented both and put a couple hundred rounds thru each. The XD fit me better and was cheaper as well. It came with 3 hi-cap mags, safety lock, cleaning brushes, and nice case.

I've got a couple thousand rounds thru it without any jams, feeding problems, issues. Very reliable.

It is a great gun. I love mine.

I bought mine just before the compact came out. Get the compact and don't look back. $450 is a good price.

I also LOVE the new XD, though my particular twist is going from 9mm to 45. I currently own a Glock 19 that is for sale because I truly enjoy shooting the XD45 more than the Glock. I have been a die hard, loyal Glock owner for over a decade. The 19 is my 3rd model.

It'll be a compact XD45 for me!

I have a XD 45 in the service model and I love it to death. Out shoots a glock 21 hands down and it has some very good, very simple safety features and is very user friendly gun to have. I have no complaints about it. If you want more detailes Fishermans Marine and Outdoor has them for a good price and they can tell you alot about them.

I have an XD9 and an XDm 40. Both are great guns and haven't given me any problems. I used to own a Glock 19. I prefer the XDs ergonomics and grip safety.
