Coast Summer Runs

Haven't seen any posts about the coastal rivers having some fish in them. Is anyone fishing them and if so, are there any fish? I don't get many days that I can get away and so I like to hit the Tillamook area streams as they are close. Would love to hear from some that know. [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

I fished with Shane last Friday on the Wilson. We fished the usual suspects and didn't touch a fish. I've heard from a few people that have caught fish on the coast rivers but there aren't any huge numbers of fish yet. We only saw two other people fishing too so the pressure is very light. The little bit of rain combined with the series of high tides this week should pull in a few fish.

Thanks for the info. I want to get down and try those jigs this summer. I want to see if I can learn the technique without a million people around me. I have a bum hoof so I can't climb too well so I look for places that are easy for me. Such is life. The golden years suck.
