If you are in the Mt. Hood forest up the Clackamas, be very wary, ELF and Cascadia Alliance will target anyone that doesn't share their views. Anything to draw media attention to thier cause, is fair game. I would recommend that no confrontation is the best course of action. Refuse to engage in debate. I have a vested interest in the case, since as best as I can determine the truck that was burned was the one that my father drove for several years before he died... Ray Schoppert didn't do anything to these people...yet they cost him near $100,000.00 in damage...gotta cut a lot of trees to make up for the damage...Be careful out there....

I'm with you 1000%....ELF is nothing but a bunch of criminal cowards. I was totally amazed that they would burn and destroy an operation working on an alternative source of wood fiber. That alternative supply would help reduce reliance on National Forests. I don't get it...they must just be looking to destroy anything they can..... good cause!!!! Some real geniuses those ELF guys. Burn 2 large research facilities dedicated to REDUCING the strain on our forests.
