Default gill netters

Hey you people , I think all of us sportsmen should go on strike against the gillnetters, till they give up or the screwed up fish and wildlife people fix things. People we Need to do something , the letters are working sort of , but not well enough . The fish and wildlife keep raising the fees but yet they take away our fisheries and give it to the netters that contribute Squat to the econ. The strike should include takle shops and all the other fishing stores in the area.

Fish-on,things are changing, maybe not as fast as you'd like, but change none the less. Did you attend the meeting in Oregon City? Have you writen or emailed your elected officals? These are all things that you can do to afford change in the system. Please get involved, the differance in this issue is you.

fish-on,

Your right. It's high time for those of us who are plain fed up with the way things have been run & done to get involved & actualy do something about it.

The one thing we all can do is make a promise to ourselves to attend at least one state level meeting a year to voice our concerns. Even just showing up you will learn who the players are & witness the process of how these decisions that affect us are made. You will see how the powers that be respond to public testimony and how the scientists are involved.

The best part is that the more of us that show up, the more the managers have to listen to our concerns. We would really like to see all of you & your frustrations (opinions) at these meetings. It would really help our cause!

I believe North of Falcon is next. Hope to see alot of you there!
