Default T6/Kelly pt Report

Fished the T6 area this morning. It was slow, only had three fish to the boat all day, a 41", 44", and a 48". Caught on smelt and squid. My Dad's boat got 8 or 9 shakers and he was fishing right next to me. Go figure. Put it in at 5 AM and was back to the ramp at 10:30.

I even got blood and slime on the new floor.

The weather had me a little worried so instead of going to Astoria we stayed around the Longview area. We only hooked four fish, three little shakers and of course the big one got away. Should have stuck with the original plan and went to Astoria. Looks like the fish have moved down.

Waterdawg - Blood and slime on the floor??

Somebodys runny nose start to bleed?

I am amazed you got that boat on the water. I thought you were gonna leave it on the pedistal in the garage. How did the optional floor polisher work which you had Motion Marine install in the boat. What did you say it weighed? 276 lbs and only took up 7 SF of floor space. This way you can keep the floors high buff wax up to par even when you are fishing.

Next time let us know, we will get a news crew out there to document the trip.

Are you sure, this wasnt a dream, you actually put that new boat in the water? You must have spent all day Sunday re-waxing the outside of the boat. And I think everybody on the board will agree, the weekly wax on the trailer, is a bit much.

No, nobody got a nose bleed

It was real fish blood and slime on the floor. The wife has the pics to prove we caught something. Heck even had blood on the side of the boat from bleeding the fish. But that came off during the “after the trip clean up”. Now it’s all nice and shiny back in the garage on it’s pedestal awaiting for the next trip. I wonder if I could get a rotating pedestal?

Yes it does take a mean polisher to buff a galvanized trailer to a mirror finish.

BTW Bait, its WaterDOG not dawg. I would like to think I’m better than that!
