Yes there are morel 'shrooms in Oregon. I only found them once down around the bridge on the Santiam river on I-5 about 6 years ago. If any one would like to share a spot or two I;d sure like to get a few of them.

The hot dry weather may be bringing the season to an end. I have been busy with work and school but my boss has picked tons of them on Sauvies island......hope he doesn't read this!

I'd imagine its pretty much the same there as it is in washington and as mentioned above the seasons coming to an end. The best pickins around mid to late april but varies year to year. They grow best around cotton-woods which are about the easies tree to identify in the world plus you can see them from a mile away. Areas that are somewhat moist are best but make sure that it doesn't flood in the winter (like by a river) because this seems to decrease their abundance.
