Jigging

Hey jiggers do u guys use a baitcasting or spinning rod? I have been using a spinning rod and the pole is about 6' but nice and stiff. I just bought a baitcasting reel and was wondering whats a nice pole to put on it for jigging or should I just stick with my spinning rod?

I Use A Spinning Outfit.
A 71/2' Rod. And 3 Lb Test.
You Need As Much Flexability As Possible And Still Have Some Back Bone For A Good Hookset.

Spinning all the way. Several different light/ultra-light reels and several different 6-6 1/2 foot med light/light rods for kokanee. Tried some bait casters for bulls and macks and went back to spinning.

Line counter baitcaster on a 7 1/2" to 8" one peice spiral wrapped bait caster rod. 65# braid with 30#florocarbon leader for the big boys!
