For those that have not fished this river, it is the river that was used for the filming of Deliverance [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] Rumor has it redneck is coming and a family reunion is planned. Bubba Jr. the 3rd is going for the record number of teeth of all the family member. It is still single digits, but if he had anymore they couldnt count them. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] O's will have his pet monkey, nuff said on that subject. I heard there might be a maiden voyage of a particular rubber ducky on this float. I installed some wheels on the sides of my boat that I got from a roman chariot. Those rotating knifes should pretty much take care of that vessel. I will bring a newspaper along to smack the nose of any DAWG that wants to get out of line.

Anybody not wearing ORANGE AND BLACK will be out of fashion and subject to a 15 yard penalty.

All,
I've been posting all along that I was going to attend this auspicious occasion. Unfortunately some family commitments have come up that I need to stay in town for so I will not be able to attend and meet all of you noble fishin folks. This really disturbs me because this is the river I cut my steelhead/salmon teeth on when I was younger and I was so looking to aiding in the hurt imposed on our northern neighbors. Well to no avail, I will have to use my telapathic influences to help out my fellow local folks on this one. You all have a real good time and please all, be safe.

To add to BOE's reference to the filming of deliverence, you boys bring your best dawg squeel your going to need it.

You guys have fun, I'll be thinking of ya.

For being a Duck fan you do not get to use real rods and reels. I guess Im going to have to get the Mickey Mouse catchum kit and punish you by making you fish with that while you are wearing a pink ballarina outfit. Then maybe you see the error in your ways.
And Hey_yall,
Are you and Osprey coming alone or are ya bringing the other 2 guys? Are ya bringing a Driftboat or the Cats? If the water is still up you will have fun in one spot with a cat.

Hey Paul (Willierower), will you post or e-mail the directions into the park that's just up from the takeout? Thanks. I will be taking the disadvantaged Dream Casters kids fishing at O.C. Saturday morning. It's supposed to be for half a day, but I don't know when we start yet. If I can dump my sled off at home in time to get to the BBQ at the park I'll be there bankfishing some jigs so you will have some fish to cook; instead of just Q'ing up some hotdawgs. I will also be able to shuttle some guys back up to their trailer rigs. - Steve

We toss a buck or two into a pot at the ramp (that is if you want in) and the biggest fish gets to keep the kitty. That would be kitty as [img]images/icons/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Does this mean Y'all aren't going to make the Dream Casters FIRST ANNUAL, FIRST-TIME EVER, GATHERATHON for Disadvantage Youth!? Actually, we Triple thank Jennie for allowing us space on the best fishing site (Sorry Michael T.'TGF' - I'm PR'ng)in the entire USofA. We have enough boats (And their respective owners!) and kids to make Saturday, June 2d, 2001, the SUNNIEST of days, no matter what the dang weatherman says. 2002 will bring a ton more planning time, additonal events (Lou Anne say 'possible' additional events)and more "Political Red Tape" lead time to aquire 100's of kids, fer sher! Now, what we'll need to have is you guys and gals who have the heart to pass on a new pastime to kids who would otherwise never have a chance of getting "Hooked on Life!" Does anyone want to run a shuttle in the A.M. while boats are putting in? There should be plenty of people at the put in to watch the boats while we shuttle. My truck can hold 5. I know it is fun to be first down the river, but not everyone can first. Might as well get the shuttle done.

If your tenting, I'd recommend Sunnyside, lots of grass and good rest rooms. I was up there an hour ago cleaning fish. Looks inviting except very open with no privacy. All the trees are small, no shade. The KOA looks to be a trailer/motorhome show by the highway.
