Default Shad fishing with Ford F-150

On my way back to the office after lunch today I'm cruising over the top deck of the 405 bridge, checking out the Willamette river below. When I look forward again I see a flying fish coming at me! Because it is several hundred feet down to the water, I thought I might still be suffering the effects of my weekend bender...or that this was no ordinary fish. It hit the grill of my Ford Supercrew with a loud whack. Although I only saw it momentarily, it appeared to be a shad or bass. There were no scales left on my grill to assist me, and the slime dried up so I don't think I can send it to the lab to be analyzed. The only thing I can think of is that an eagle or hawk was sitting on the top span of the bridge, or perhaps flying over with it and dropped it. If only it could have been a springer and landed in the back of my truck! Would I have had to tag it? Anyone happen to venture over the bridge and see the fish in the road?

Sorry killer, I set the hook a little too hard and sent that fish into a low orbit

Uh........okay Elwood oops I mean killer just lie down over there on the couch and relax. Now tell Dr. Stew when you started having these visions. Yes your big friend Harvey can come in too. Seriously though It probably was just what you suspected or maybe someone had it in the back of their pickup and it flew out. I've heard of it raining frogs but not fish.

Hey Killertraylor, I've had mule deer land on my pickup but never fish. Must be a Ford - Chevy thing.
