boat doc. i pulled out my this year and it won't start. it ran good always last season. its not getting spark. i replaced the coil with an automotive one from baxters.they said it would work fine. the boat has a chev 350. but it still will not fire.
Check the lanyard switch if you have one, also check the shift interrupter switch and make sure it's not engaged. If this has points they may need replaced.
