Sturgon on Sunday ... Whos fishing?
Wildhawg and I are chasing Sturgon in the morning. Anyone else?
Would be nice to share some realtime on the water information with other boats to get on the fish faster. I also have more than enough fresh smelt sitting on Ice to share with whomever might need it. Looks like tide change to outgoing is somewhere between 7 and 9 AM depending on location. Cooperation instead of competetion would be the rule of the day.
How bout it? Tacklebuster? KHH? Carrot (cough) Crew? Andy Coho? Tilla? Anyone else?
Its been a bit since Ive been looking for fish so any recent (last 2 days) reports would be appriciated. Email is ifish2002@hotmail.com
Thanks,
UG

If I didn't have to work I would love to play.
Fish the Columbia, most of the quality fish have moved out of the Willy and Multnomah Channel in search of the smelt.
Good luck.

Columbia, Oregon side Frenchman's was slow.
Right below head of the MC in the Willamette was steady, pretty much everywhere. They were liking whole smelt or small piece of smelt/squid combo.
Two keepers released, many close, many shakers.

I'll be there, Sturg in the morning.... trolling salmon through the afternoon. Ever since your pic. post, I have the uncontrollable itch to punch the first springer on my tag

Is tomorrow a catch and release day? I can't seem to remember anything these days.

I'll be around kelly point tomorrow. If the sturgeon bite is slow I'll switch to kwikie's and see what happens. Should be a pretty nice day no matter what.

Re: Sturgon on Sunday ... Whos fishing?
Fished on Friday in the Columbia around T6, Punchbowl, and below the Willy on the Oregon side and it was Very Slow. We caught maybe 10 shakers between 3 guys all day. Moved about 4 times and it was slow for all boats out.
