Default Sandy River still slow!!!

Man, I have never seen this river so slow this late in the year. I fished from 4:30 AM till 9:00 this morning. I was using fresh eggs in three different flavors, I had zero takedowns. Probably fifteen other guys were fishing the same stretch as me, out of those probably only five or six new their elbow from their ass, but still no one was touching any fish. Whats more I only saw a few fish roll, and every one that I got a good look at had quite a lot of color to it. Its almost like we arent getting any fresh fish into the system. As I was walking out I talked to two guys, one who had just left Oxbow, and another coming down from Marmot. The first guy said there were a lot of steelies flipping down in the park, but no one, not even drift boats, were picking up fish. The other said that there were a few native steelies caught up at marmot. Neither said they hd even seen a chinook roll, let a lone caught! With the water clearing up it should be really good out there. Oh well, maybe it will pick up by next weekend, I hope!
