Sturgeon fishing Trojan hole 2/7

I took the family out to try our luck with our fresh dipped smelt. There were 10-12 boats around the trojan powerplant area so we joined them. We found a spot away from the others because my anchor skills are, well, shall we say NOT. We had a few nibbles, but not like normal sturgeon bites. After talking with another guy about it I think they might have been smelt bumping the line???

Anywho nobody we saw fishing with smelt caught anything. One guy using sandshrimp got 2 keepers.

No nadda for us , little bites that resulted in nothing , ONly 2 shakers to the boat all day ,It stunk out there. was using smelt w/ worms and had more bites with the worms than with out
