Anyone Driving a 4.7 V8 Tundra 4x4? Mileage?

What do you get for mileage on the highway? Any complaints about the truck?

My Sequoia gets 19-21 MPH on the freeway....12-14 pulling my 26' sailboat or 20' dory loaded w/ two engines and 30 gal of fuel.

I have a '00 4x4 with a 3" lift. It gets about 17 on the hwy and about 12 pulling a 20' TJ

my 03 gets maybe 15 mpg but I drive fast. Truck is great though, no problems.

06'..I get 16-17 driving back and forth to work. Highest (20) was a trip up the coast. Not sure exactly what I get towing about 4k of boat, but I would guess about 11-12. Just checked my last tank from a beach trip..20mpg

my 04' gets 16-18 to and from work. 18-20 all freeway and no traffic.

I replaced the Air Intake with a CAI. Replaced the headers with 4-2-1 SS racing headers and changed the exhaust to dual. More HP and Torque with better gas mileage than stock. You can hear it coming from a few blocks away

I couldn't tell you anything for mileage with towing cause I have nothing to tow........yet.

06 gets 17 back and forth to work-store ect. best was 23 from gorge to northern calif and back but i dont push/speed and not pulling anything.
the only problem i have is its so relaxing to drive that i dont stop till i need gas. that was ok with a stinky dodge that got 10 no matter what you did

if your looking you cant beat it and it has more USA parts that any of the big 3 and its put together here too

I use to work at Toyota i still know alot of good friends still there. Let me know if your still searching for a pre own Tundra.
