I was going to a friends up Washoogle River Road and stopped at the mercentile store for a beer and found a couple stone flies on my wiper blades when I came out. Led me to wonder if the shoogle is a good trout river.
I fished the Washougal today. Friday I got a nice steelhead, tuesday a nice cut and nothing but a smolt today. If we're talking about the same river it's great. A little early but some fish are showing.
