Default Sandy River Gauge

Looks like a correction was made yesterday. That’s more like it. I’ll have to change my journal entries.

Default Re: Sandy River Gauge

On Thursday I floated Dodge to Oxbow, the morning reading was about 2100-2200cfs. When I looked at the boulder garden below the put in I knew there was no way it was that low, looked closer to 3K.
I sailed over spots that I may have bumped or scuffed in at 2100cfs.
Dropped an e-mail to USGS and they said they were going to have someone look at it on Friday.
Apparently they fixed it because the blue line was flat all day Friday, 6AM reading was either 1980 or 2040cfs, can't remember which. Later that day I checked it and it was PRESTO! 2760cfs.
That's more like it.
If you use the foot gage you can go to the NOAA site and get the recent history of the flows and there is a side by side ft./cfs reading. That may help with your corrections.
