What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
I was wondering what kind of Hi- Vis do ya'll like to use, and where do you get it at. I perfer something with not to much memory that doesn't jump of the spool. I've heard good things about suffix, but can not seem to find the Hi-Vis anywhere in town {Gresham, Port, etc...}. I will be using it for sidedrifting, hence the Hi-Vis and low memory. Any info is much obliged.
Thanks. db

G.I. Joes can order Sufix for you. Get the Superior in Hi. Vis Yellow. I had them order me up 2 1100 yard spools. They get it through Allsports.

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
According to my sensei Jack Glass, he uses the mono for sidedrifting because it sinks a little better and doesn't float on top of the water. He uses Stren line, but I'm pretty sure they pay him to use it.

It's been a year, but I got a couple of spools filled with Hi-Vis Sufix at Great American Tackle.

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
I’m a ANDE fan. The hi-vis (yellow) line is excellent. My reels are loaded with 12 lb. I put about a 6 ft. bumper of same test green ANDE on the front end tied with a nail knot. If I have to break off, it’s always at the splice so I never leave a long trail of mono in the drift. Nice thing about ANDE it is an inexpensive but very strong line. I don’t think the local tackle shops carry the yellow. I know Joe’s doesn’t. Got a couple spools from Bass Pro. Try it!!

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
I saw some Stren magnaflex hi vis at the show yesterday and the rep said he loves it for sidedrifting, what else is he gonna say, "this stuff sucks." I myself have been a lifelong Stren fan and this line looks like it could be a winner. Give it a look, you might like it.

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
No problem DB, I hope they can set you up. If they have a problem doing it for you look it up in the Allsports master catalog yourself then have them do a special order. Thats what I did.
Im a diehard Maxima UG guy. Ive always went back to it after trying the newest so called best mono on the market...... But since Ive tried Sufix, Im not going back to Maxima UG on spinning reels Im staying with the Sufix.
Ive used the DNA and the Superior but only in 12lb. Scheele uses the Tritanium in 15 and he seems to be happy with it.

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
I agree with Rapid Robert. That Izorline is pretty awesome. It doesn't seem to have that much memory (HI-vis) You can get the stuff ant American Tackle (Clackamas)
Has anybody else tried this line?

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
Rumor is that Sufix and Izorline are basically the same thing. I'm hooked on Sufix. Anyone care to clear the "They are the same thing" thing up for me?

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
You might do a keyword search for BubbaJacks Tackle. $14.99 for 10,000 feet of Hi Vis Yellow
Sufix.

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
I like to use STREN . It comes in MAGNA FLEX 750-yard spools. It has been hard to find but FISHERMENS IS starting to get it in . i was told that it is so popular that it will take time to fill the demand . If they doint have it they can order it for you .

Re: What kind of Hi-Vis, and where to get?
Thanks to all for the reply's. It seems that I have numerous options to try out. I've used the Ande in the past {gift from friend} with good results, but can't find Hi-Vis in town. Going to order some suffix and look forward to giving it a shot. Never even heard of Izorline, but going to try it out, just didn't catch where to buy any. Maybe Joe's or Fisherman's? Just haven't seen it there. Thanks again, ifish rocks...

Try Ollie Damons on Grand in Portland. I got some good Pink line there a year or so ago.
