Saturday 25th Depoe

Keep going back and forth but will probably head out of Depoe Saturday instead of Newport for Halibut.

Looks like the earlier the departure the better to avoid the wind waves in the afternoon.

To all that venture hope you get into them.

, I'm going out from Newport tomorrow in another boat, Fri, & Sat. in my boat....weather permitting, Yeah! Sat. afternoon looks a little sporty according to NOAA, Wetsand still shows good. Give a shout while your out there, we'll be monitoring #78 as usual. Good Luck!

The Fun Time will be heading out of Depoe about 5am Friday the 25th.
Sat is the 26th so if its Friday we will see you there.

Your right sturgeon Tom, I think I was trying to eliminate a day off the work week and get out and fish. Will be out Saturday. Hope you post a report with smiling faces and lots a fish.

Dropping crab pots north off siletz and then heading out.

Update on Sturgeon Tom and The Fun Time. We left Depoe Bay this morning about 05:30, headed out to the Banana Banks area. Got on scene, set the gear, and began fishing. About 20 minutes into fishing, Tom broke a tooth off at or below the gum line, so we hauled the gear and headed back for Depoe Bay. :frown:

So, Tom is headed for the Dentist today, with no fish in the boat.

We each did have hits however, with both of our bait being stripped.

Tom, I do thank you for the boat trip out this morning, and hope that the Dentist can get you fixed up quickly and out of pain.
