Default Rockpile Yesterday???

Anybody fish the Rockpile yesterday?? Just curious to see if the bite was on there.
Fished the Ranch with Something Good, Pilar, Smiley, and mi amigo Woody yesterday. Sloppy, disorganized chop made the ride slow and bumpy, but the drift was actually quite good. Bite was slow, 'butt we got our 5.
Overall a great day on the water. Company could've been better though (it's an inside joke)
Thanks Thuan and my friends for getting this old broken down ex salt addict back in the saddle!!!!

I fished it friday. Similar water to what your describing. Very slow fishing. I got one chicken but let it go. Nothing else all day. From the radio reports it sounded like it wasn't just me having a hard time finding fish.

We (Ryan Pultz, Kenny and I) fished the south end of the pile for several hours yesterday but couldn't get anything to bite, not even a rock (see post by Stickfish). I did manage to keep my record intact; I still haven't caught a Halibut at the pile (since the closure). Got an Octopus there last year and a rock about size of Stckfish's. We did manage to have a good time and we did finally scratch up 3 rock fish back on the south reef before calling it a day.

We fished it hard for 5-6 hours on Friday with nary a take down. We then ran to the ranch where 3 1/2 hours later we limited the boat with nice size fish. I got my bigest to date with a 47 1/2 incher. Some people have special mojo out there where they can pick their fish there.

We fished the south end of the rockpile on Saturday morning and had a few bits but now fish to show it was to rough at that point to run to the ranch so thus I am still a halibut virgin rp
