New to the Area
I recently moved to the area from Eastern Washington. If anyone would like a fishing buddy who pays their share, send me a line. Even if you just have some advice or info, that would be great. I am shore-bound at the moment, so if you know any places to fish for smallies from shore, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: New to the Area
Dan,
I too am a Snake River transplant...E.Oregon that is.
Update your profile w/ contact info and location and we'll see if we can get you hooked up.
I usually only get to fish weekend mornings on the Lower Willamette Rvr and CR, but hey better than nothing.
My pager # is in my profile.

Re: New to the Area
Well, I live in the Portland area and I am looking for someone to go out on Mons or Tues, usually. I have 17ft starcraft. I still need to learn the Columbia lot better, but finding is half the fun. So if you have those days off I am sure we can hook up.

Re: New to the Area
It just so happens that I have Mondays off! I would be willing to shell out my share for gas. I have seen some places from shore where several guys in bass-boats where knocking them dead. You can e-mail me at dan_walner@hotmail.com or call at 360-870-5640.

Re: New to the Area
I'll throw this for out for any who want to fish out of my boat, I will be back from Afghanistan mid-late June, I know the willamette pretty good, and often times fish alone or I mean catch alone, it's always fun to have a witness there to see the one that didn't get away. So feel free to hit me up anytime. I have most weekends off and don't mind fishing after work (7-5pm)...P.S. I am normal most of the time

Re: New to the Area
To change the subject, can you give me any information about Potholes? We will be camping at Mar Don resort over Memorial Day. I'm especially interested in: walleye, crappie, perch and bluegill.

Re: New to the Area
I haven't fished potholes. I don't know why, but most of the time I was on the snake river or up at lake roosevelt. I have seen a bunch of magazine articles from Washington/Oregon Fish and Game magazine. Might want to start a new thread for this one.
