Pirate ship !

That's funny.

Lady Washington was the name of the ship Captain Robert Gray Sailed from Boston during the discovery of the Columbia River.
Pirate Ship ! Indeed
'

It will probably port in Portland before too long. I'll save some gas money and see it here.

Portland, Or May 31 - June 10, 2007

I believe it was the Hawaiian Chieftan that was at Westport most of last summer. My Daughter was fascinated watching it shoot its canyons and talking to the "pirates".

Now that she is a little older I would love to take her on the boat ride. She is three and just loves "captain feathersword". (Those of you who have toddlers will understand)

Fun stuff for the kids.

They are coming up the coast and into Portland too. I don't know if they will offer the same cruises, but they will be coming up the coast.

SCHEDULE

It seems that both ships appear together.

One of my uncles was the Captain of the Lady Washington several years ago. They really do put on a pretty good show. The crew dresses in period clothes when they are in port. It was great, as my uncle lost a leg years ago in an accident. The crew put together a wodden peg leg for him. He made the best pirate!

If you get the chance, go check it out!
