Default Where to get rid of an old BBQ?

I just purchased a new BBQ and need to get rid of the old one. Does anyone know where you can take them? Other than the dump. Can they be recycled?

The garagemen come thru our neighborhood once a year for all over sized things... I got rid of our that way this year.

Have you tried craigs list in the free section?

The metal, steel or aluminum, can be recycled. Take out the ashes and/or grease clinkers and take it to a metal recycle collection place. You might make it as small as possible to conserve space.

craig's list free section, or leave it out at the curd with FREE sign. It will go away on it's own.

Paint it looking like bright shiney Copper, Or Brass, Or polish the Alum. Go visit a bad area in town. should walk away fairly fast

IF still works, donate to some club. Someone might be able to use it. OR just Chop up & toss in scarp metal dump.
