Friday's Trout& Salamanders

My daughter and I went for an after school outing on friday. This is the short story. If you want the long version call her she will be more than happy to bend your ear about it. This was her first fish this evening.



This is what we endend up with.


This was the most exciting thing. Catching salamanders.


This was the best trophy for the outing. A true yellow belly monster.


Then she tried to gross me out.


All in all a very successful outing. Trout, salamaders, lots of snacks and great times laughing. I hope to have many many more of these kinds of times with her.

Nice Job! For me, that is the best part of fishing - taking your kids fishing and teaching, sharing, enjoying. Those are the best memories I have of my father and I hope my kids will remember me in this way. I'm sure your daughter will too.
