Virgins and the eight foot sturgeon

Well we took our first sturgeon trip of the year to Bonneville. Four on one to the boat. I had three new guys whom had never fished for the big boys. It was quite the trip even though we missed three good hook-ups. Needless to say they will hook up with them again sometime soon.
A special thanks to Don Snieder Reel Adventures) who showed me how to do this several years ago. It has been money well spent.

Tony it was fun fishing with you again. Can't wait for the next time. Ray and Chuck we will do it again real soon. Ray let me know how the Halibut trips went.

Dan, your right. The big ones can be fun. Last Friday, we had a triple hookup. Two were oversized and on was about 3 1/2 ft.
Needless to say, we kept busy.

I had softball practice later that night. My arms and back let me know that I'd had quite a work out earlier. I wouldn't trade that pain for anything though. Hopefully I'll be able to get out with you again soon. Take some revenge on the three that we missed.
