ANY ONE KNOW IF THE HIGH WATERS HAVE RECEDED FOR TOMORROW, SUNDAY? (ESPECIALLY ON THE SOUTH?)
i AM PLANNING ON GOING IN THE MORNING, BUT IF THE WATER IS STILL HIGH, THEN MAYBE i WILL RECONSIDER, THANKS.
I just got my butt out of bed at 3:30 in the morning and the flows are still high ! Around 2800 cfs. I'm crawling back to bed and I'll check again at 6:00. Good luck if you decide to go.
How do you check that quickly? There must be somw website that directs you to that stuff. Also, what is the ideal fishing flow??
Go to river levels on the main page then click on one of the bottom two and go to the river of your choice. For the North Santiam it should be under four feet, however there is some spots to fish if it's a little above that. good luck.

The water is high!. I just looked at the river on my home from work.
I talked to a guy at the ramp in Lebanon. He fished yesterday and got one spring and one steelhead. I stopped at Lebanon damn yesterday morning to what was going on. It was DEAD! I was there from 6:30 to 8:00 and didnt see a fish hooked. I guess at about 9:30 a bite turned on and 4 fish were caught. 4 fish for about 25 rods isnt all that good.
