Fished the lower drift today from Dabne to Lewis and Clark. I had a person from Israel with me today that has never fished before, plus he showed up with a banana in his lunch. Well he put the old banana therory to shame today, he was the only one to have a hook-up and lost it on a long line release. Saw mostly summers caught today only one or two springers. Beautiful day and the water was real fine, just one of those days for me, we should have hooked more fish I thought. The upper drift from Oxbow down seemed to have had better action from what I heard, saw a real nice 16/17lb hatchery summer (chomer) that got caught from up there. The traffic was light on the lower drift but heavier on the upper, should be in fine shape for tomorrow.......good luck

The beginners luck theory wins over the banana theory, anyday.
Now, if you had brought a banana, no wait, you didn't catch any, right?
OK, so.... Carry bananas!
Hey, if you haven't seen this scent, it's sure worth trying!
