Default Bass spots on the Willamette near Corvallis...

I was curious if anybody knew of any good bass spots on the Willamette in the Corvallis/Albany area. We generally launch at Hyak Park and motor upstream. Any info would be great.

Have you tried around Kieger Island on the Willy?? It used to be good fishing int he spring/early summer before the water warmed to much. PM me and I'll give you directions if you've never been there. Lots of buckets and a few smallies.

I can't offer much in the way of spots to fish, but if you are already in Corvallis there's a place to put in that is a lot closer thank Hyak park. Crystal lake park has a good ramp, a dock, and is very lightly used. Of course if you're in Albany, Hyak is a good choice.
