New to me motor

2005 140 HP Suzuki. Runs great, love it. However, there are some scratches where it has been apparently drug through gravel or rocks. None of the scratches is real deep but there are many. Kind of puts a damper on a beautiful motor if nothing else... Should I worry about them? Is there any danger in not doing anything about them?

My position on the issue is, if it's in the water you cant see it, many a boats have a little rub wear. repaint if you wish, won't hurt leaving it either.

Don't think of them as scratches...think of them as battle scars.
If you are lucky you will add a couple hundred of your own.
