Survivor in AFRICA I ain\'t going!!
As much fun as survivor would be I don't think I would enjoy doing the Africa thing. Hyennias and the Lions scare the crap out of me when I am sleeping. Watched Hyennias come right up to fire on several wildlife shows....they are nasty!!

Re: Survivor in AFRICA I ain\'t going!!
Nastier than the candiru?
The candiru is a fish indigenous to the Amazon River. One of nature's tiniest creatures, the candiru has been known to nestle itself inside the urethra of many an unsuspecting bather, whereupon it releases from its body numerous pointy little barbs, which make extraction virtually impossible short of actual amputation. Death by candiru is said to be slow and excruciating. And inevitable.

Oh thanks for that lovely visual Jen! Guess I won't be swimming anywhere for a while!
I wonder if any of those get transported in ballast water in ships?

I don't know if I believe you or not . This sounds like something that I would tell my little brother while out camping .

Candiru = true, sorry guys. Kicker is the things are attracted by nitrogen, as in urine. Don't pee in the pool.
