Fished till 2 pm. Decent bite from about noon to 1:30. Saw 8 or so to the net, we finally managed to bloody the boat. Beautiful day in the gorge, very little wind.

Fished from about 5:30 to about 8:30 this morning. Saw two caught. For a place that's supposed to get thousands of fish, I would expect be seeing a little more than that. I'm baffled.

FNF

Can you tell us westerners a little about how to fish that area? Launch at Umatilla, and fish the Blalock islands or what is the set up?

Hi Slutgoddess,
I will be using a jet diver and eggs starting at the deadline and backing on down. I will also drag a mag-wart around the mouth of the Umatilla River! See ya there!
