I've heard sand shrimp work pretty well but I myself prefer pile worms which are pretty easy to get at low tide with a shovel (kinda like clamming) or by flipping over rocks. You'll want a long rod and enough weight to get out there but not so much as to kill the fight. The use of 3-way swivels and/or spreader bars is almost neccessary. I use #4 bait holder hooks and if you can find the long shaft ones those are the best because they are easier to remove since some perch take the hook pretty deap. Best of luck

Anyone ever fly fish for those lil guys? I'm a new flyfisherperson and trying to imagine casting in the wind :-)
