Default Report from Columbia City

I thought that you might like to know that tonight a gillnetter was working in the Columbia on the Oregon side. I thought it was ironic that you and I cannot fish the river but the netters are working. I saw them land at least one big Chinook, couldn't tell if they kept it or not. They were definitly catching lots of shad which they were throwing back. I'm sure this is all in the name of research!!!!

Now, do we have to release the fin clipped shad?????

Hey, isn't there some new reg. that you waterfront property owner types get to fish year 'round for any species as long as it is on the waterway adjacent to your property???

You're a 'Sovereign' taxpaying property owner . Toss a spin-glow off that dock, JJ !
