Default Flysihing for surf perch

I've got a handle on surf perch fishing with bait. Fishing the same kind of surf water, what kind of flies have you used? What is your line preference, floating or sinking line? Any info would be helpful.

I usually use a fast (Type 6) 10-15 ft sink tip line,7 or 8wt. Shrimp or baitfish patterns work well, sizes 4-8. Fish with short, quick strips, 3-10ft deep, and keep moving 'til you find the fish. Good luck!
