120 hp??? Or 120 PUMP HORSEPOWER?? If it's a 120 hp it'll be about 80 horses at the pump. Sounds like a pretty good deal if it's a 120 PUMP HORSE.. and is in immaculate shape. Top too??

120 HP motor equals about 80-85 hp at the pump. No top. Boat has been garaged all its life.

Low hours?? Sounds like if it's been garaged...it's been well taken care of. Is there an hour meter on the boat?? I don't wanna say go for it, as I haven't checked what they're going for...or a similar boat for that matter. Do you know the owner?? Like they say...Shop and Compare...before you buy!! It's pretty easy to tell if a boat's been taken care of, by how it looks. Harder to tell the usage tho. And I'm sure you could get someone to look at it for you before you buy...and most definitely...take it for a spin to see how that 120 does. It may be a bit underpowered. Only you know what your needs and wants are.

FM,
Thanks for your post, but I think you are a little confused. I made this post to help out a friend who is selling his boat. I am not buying. I do know the history on this boat and it has had very good care. With the 120 it is definately not underpowered, has a great holeshot up on a plane. If I didn't have almost exactly the same boat already I would buy it.

The big motor has is a Force, which is made by Mercury, it has approx 100 hours and is in excellent condition, the 8 hp is a long shaft mercury.
