Default Pineview Rez...

Heading back to my home state of UT. wondering what's happening at Pineview Reservoir as far as bass action? Never fished it much when I lived there but have taken up fishing since moving to the PNW. Been doing alright on Lk. Wash. so far this spring.
I only travel back to Utah twice a year so your spots are safe most of the year. Please lend a hand in pointing me towards a semi-accurate locale on the lake. My father lives in Liberty so I am familiar with the area just not the fishing.
Thanks.

Funny to find a post on iFish for a lake in Utah. I also live in Liberty and fish The View a couple times a week. Fished it last Saturday evening for a couple hours and put 4 different species to the tube. I landed 2 Smallmouths (18" and 16"), 3 Crappie (all 13"), a Carp, and 2 Tiger Muskies (30" and 34"). All the fish were caught in the Spring Creek area.

Let me know when you get back in UT and maybe we can hit the View.

Good Luck

Hey WS. did you get my pm last year concerning your muskie? i never heard back so i thought my family name put up some red flags . lol
ill be back in town the saturday of mem. day weekend. dont plan on hitting the lake til after the madhouse of pleasure boaters dissipates a little. i think i can get my hands on a float tube. what type of tackle and gear am i needing? i have two rods in mind that i use on a regular basis up here. both baitcasting setups.
thanks for responding and any further input. a little comraderie on a nice day is always a good prescription.
