That sounds fun, T4T! But I think I'm going to be fishing the Big C for Smallies! :-( Sorry! Let me know if you do any good ^_^ I imagine you will be one of the first that has fished it this year.

Two fo us fished from 7am - 8pm. Caught 43 trout. Most were 8-10inches.
I hope the next stocking has some larger fish-many of these were pretty pathetic.
The weather was fantastic and the Mt. Hood displayed some spectacular lenticular clouds near sunset.

Thanks for the report. I have fished it for 45 years,
never went before Memorial day. Some nice brookies
up by Meditation Point. We kept track one day and
we C&Red 135 on my wifes pole amd 127 on a friends
wife's. #6 Teeny Nynphs-green and brown,
No weight just out 120 ft or so. In those days, there
was no one there, unless it was very hot in P town.

Last time I took the boys up I met a fella who had been there as a boy with his Dad and he said "see all of these trees? There new!" It was pretty funny to see the look on my boys face.
Ha! The tree's are new. That takes me back a ways.
We used to dry camp near the dam (I should say
'this Buds for you', those days are over for me.:smile:
