Its real slow in the canyon, from the reports I've gotten from freinds that fish it regularly. 1 or 2 fish caught each morning around first light then it dies. Although after the rains we've had the last couple of days if we get a mudline in the mouth then those fish hanging up out in the columbia might just start hitting the river in force. Good luck

TM, the rains muddied it up yesterday, but it clears fast. I fished well up the river today with Superfly and Nick A. and decent numbers of fish were caught despite the still high but fishable colored water. Plenty of springers were rolling too. I think they were moving fast. You could fish a bunch of casts in the same slot without anything and then a fish on in the same place if you kept after it. Lookout for an onslaught of fishermen this weekend up there! You can find less crowded springer fishing with just as many fish per fishermen elsewhere.
