RT, isnt it great to get rid of AOL. I did recently also, I went to DSL and love it, way better than AOL so much faster.

I got my cable back in Jan. Back when Napster was still really active (pre-filters). I was on Napster every day after work for a little bit for the next couple weeks. I must have about 2000 songs now.
Yeah wanna see a cool site now that you have high speed go to www.vidnet.com
They have music videos and movie trailers. Imagine watching those with a dialup.
Another cool site to check what speed you're running at is www.2wire.com
They have a bandwidth test. It'll tell you what speed you're running.
Just checked mine and it was 1030.3 Kbps [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
I love to do a screen capture now and then and e-mail to my brother who will probly never get it where he lives. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Welcome to speedworld my friend!!! One thing I might suggest that was mentioned on here and I am glad I did it is to install a firewall. There are free ones available for download off of the internet. It's amazing how many sites try to tap into your computer cause it's "on-line" all of the time with the cable.

Hey, get the cable while you wait for your dsl. They hook it up the next day and there is no commmitment. You will probably end up liking the faster speeds after it is said and done.
