Astoria, Deep river sturgeon.
Well, we gave it a go.Fished the deep river area around Rocky point to Portugese pt. with no luck on Friday.We packed up and went to Tongue pt. on Saturday with the same results.Fished the shallower sand flats and some deeper water , 25' around the cannery in town.I guess it's too early for the estuary yet, but the weather wasn't the best either.Sunday we drove to Kalama and picked up fish in 70' of water.The count was in the teens for the three of us, with one keeper.
