Places to shoot trap or SC near Bend

I'll be in Bend from 5/9-5/13. Can anyone tell me if there's a place open to the public to shoot trap or sporting clays near Bend or Redmond. I'll be staying at Eagle Crest. Thanks--BP

The Redmond Rod and Gun club is just east of Redmond, on the north side of hwy 126. They are shooting trap Wed night, practice and lots of games---Annie's, chippers, bushwackers, etc. Only 2 bucks a game, 5 bucks back if you win. Starts about 5 pm, usually goes past 9. They also shoot trap Sundays starting at 9 or 10 am. Come out Wednesday to confirm the schedule. I'll be in Newport for the halibut opener unless the boat work at Maxweld isn't done, or the weather is atrocious. Then I'll be shooting! Just ask for Mark Rubbert, the rancher, I'm a regular there.

Bend and Prineville both have trap clubs. Might do a little searching and find out what nights they shoot at Bend. I think Prineville is on a weekend. Someone should have a Sporting Clays course somewhere.

Just did a search for Sporting Clays and came up with Central Oregon Sporting Clays on Brosterhous Road.

They left when the Bend Trap Club sold their land a year or 2 ago. They now shoot at the COSSA range out by Millican on weekends. I don't have hours or times, call them or check their website.
