Default looking for a good place to take my wife

Does anyone know of a good place to take my wife fishing for gators on saturday? I have only had luck catching small shakers and would love to show her a good time and surprise her with a real fight. She only goes fishing with me a couple times a year,so any advice would be great!!! Ok I'm not lookin for you all to tell me a secret spot I'm just wondering if the best area would be around KP or down near the Cowlitz where the smelt is??? Or maybe the Willy?

I am going to put in at Ridgfield and head down below the channel. If there is nothing there I will head into the channel itself. For the channelyou need a OR license. Putting in @ 7:00. We can usually scrape up a few fish.

You also may consider getting her out latter in the year when the weather conditions are better and the keeper to shaker ratio is better.
