Default T-8 grounded on gravel bar

"My friend" grounded my kicker on a gravel bar and ruined the prop. The new prop is ordered but I wanted to know thoughts on the t-8 paint that was pitted and scraped. Should I have the paint professionally repaired, just touch it up, or not worry about it? I use the boat in the salt and worry about the paint bubbling if I don’t do something. If I do it myself does anyone have recommendations for paint?

If it's not really deep nicked, I would just buff it up a bit and touch up paint it.
Cheap two cents worth.
