Clamming and sturgeon
Wow! Lots of sturgeon boats out today, there must be SOMETHING going on, eh Marie? You should know! All clustered around the dolphin.
Clamming was a blast! Wow! Sore shoulders though! We got a bunch of nice cockles and now I have a great clam chowder brewing on the stove! It was really fun! I'm taking the kids tomorrow, if there is a decent tide.
Anyway, there is more to life than Spring Chinook! We should be thankful for all of these neato opportunities we have here in Oregon. I get tired of beefing about things that bug me and forget to be thankful for what we do have here.
Oh! By the way... Who is going to be fishing and who is going to be in Salem on Monday???
I'm going to Salem!
Man, if I didn't have work to do, I could just about do something outdoors different every day!
Clamming, bird watching, fishing for sturgeon, trout, steelies, (summer, winter fall), bass, salmon, fly fish, spin fish, fish fish fish!
Then, clamming, crabbing, halibut tuna... Man... I'm done, you get the point! We are so DANG LUCKY!
