baltz526, how was the dark meat? I found mine ever so slightly gamey-tasting - - - - but, my brother said he couldn't detect any gaminess.

i plucked mine immediately, then gutted it. it was already cool to the touch when i got to the truck, overnight in the refrigerator then in the oven. i got pictures on my 35mm, when i finish the roll i'll post

I had my 3 smoked as well as my step son's 3. We got the one back from the youth hunt and it is very tasty. A bit dry and salty on the thinner parts, but still a nice treat.
