Delta Waterfowl - Columbia River Delta Chapter Meeting May 4, 2007
Oregon's first Delta Waterfowl chapter--the Columbia River Delta chapter meets on the first friday of every month.
Our next meeting is
Date: Friday, May 4th
Time: 6:30 pm
Where: The Decoy Restaurant in Linnton - 10710 NW St Helens Rd, Portland, OR 97231-1047
This Delta Chapter is just getting started--Whether you are a duck hunter or not, if you want to learn more about Delta Waterfowl--come on out to the Decoy on May 4th.

Good post Chanclor. I'll be there and hopefully bring a couple of newbees.
Something for the folks to chew on. Oregon Waterfowl Festival Aug 18 and 19. Come prepared for ideas of our booth. I'm thinking of a Duck blind totally decked out. With a dozen dekes maybe a duck strap with some dead fowl retrieving dummies and so on. We all need to get together and pitch in on. Afterwards the entire thing will go to silent auction for the waterfowl festival. We will need folks to help run the booth and build and transport the blind to the festival as well as help get donations for it. I have most of the wood for building it already just need to set up a date to do the building.
I also want to build a couple of the duck nest from the delta web site to display at the festival.

Well fellas, in effort to keep you all from thinking I've blown of DW completely, I won't be able to make this one because my daughter's first birthday is on Saturday, and apparently you're supposed to pick up the house, mow the lawn, etc... before you have a bunch of people come over...? Seems odd to me, but I abide.
