Default commercial nets and the re-opener

Hey fellas,

Just planning my strategy for the re-opener. Does anyone know if the lower columbia (longview on down) recieved a net season the past week and if so, when did it end?

Thanks, and good luck to all.

As far as I know, the only comm'l fishery in the mainstem Columbia below Bonne. now is that experimental fishery with the new nose tangling nets which only has one boat on the river per tide. There are, however, net fisheries going on frequently in the terminal fishery areas -- Youngs Bay, Deep River, and Blind Slough. There should still be a lot of fish coming up the river although the peak of the run has already passed Bonneville a few days ago.(See Bonneville fish passage counts for actual numerical trends).
